It started with a question.

Why do we cut down trees to create banknotes?

Even then, it felt like a reflection of something deeper – like we didn’t quite have our priorities straight.

I didn’t have the words for it at the time as a young child daydreaming in class, but something about the way we were living didn’t feel aligned. That question stayed with me and quietly shaped the way I began to look at life, at people and at myself.

I’m Jamian Khopkar (Jay), and that curiosity turned into a deeper exploration of what it means to be human – how we think, how we feel and why so many of us feel stuck despite wanting more.

Over time, that exploration became personal. I found myself caught in cycles of overthinking, self-doubt, overwhelm and mental burnout. The kind where you have a million ideas but no clear direction… where you want to move forward but feel paralysed instead.

And for a long time, I kept trying to solve it the same way – thinking harder, pushing more, expecting different results.

Until I realised something simple but important:
Most of us were never taught how to work with our mind and body – only how to push through them.

When you don’t understand your internal world, it can feel like you’re constantly reacting to it.

But when you learn how to regulate and be present with it, everything starts to change

What I do

I work with neurodiverse individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or inconsistent – helping them build in-house regulation strategies so they can create clarity, reduce anxiety and take aligned action.
This is 1:1 coaching and ongoing mentorship, tailored to how you actually operate – not how you’ve been told you “should”.

This is for you if:

You’re neurodiverse and ready to stop fighting yourself and start understanding how you actually work. All of us are heading to the same destination; each of us just has a unique path to getting there!
We have become disconnected from our nature, and that gives rise to most of the issues we struggle with. It’s not that you’re broken – it's that your system hasn’t been supported in the way it needs.

Many of the patterns we struggle with aren’t things we consciously choose, but they can be changed once we learn how they work.

What you get

When we work together, the focus is on giving you tools that put the power back in your hands:
  • Practical ways to regulate overwhelm and sensory overload
  • Anxiety management you can rely on in real time
  • Healthier dopamine habits (so motivation becomes more sustainable)
  • A clearer, calmer mental space
  • The ability to follow through without forcing yourself
  • A deeper sense of self-acceptance
  • Regain lost confidence
With committed application, overwhelm can begin to reduce in a matter of weeks – the more you put in, the more you get out.

My approach is simple:

When you learn to nurture the roots, you’re no longer distracted by the leaves.
We don’t just manage symptoms – we work at the level where real change happens. When you take the proper actions, change isn’t something you have to strive for; it’s a natural byproduct.

Why work with me

In a world that constantly pulls your attention outward, it’s easy to lose connection with yourself.
Over time, that can look like:

I’m not coming at this from theory alone.

I’m neurodiverse myself, and I’ve lived through the cycles of dysregulation, overwhelm, paralysis and burnout – more times than I can count. I know what it’s like to feel misunderstood and stuck, and I also know what it takes to move through it.

After a profound personal experience, I stopped trying to “fix” myself and started learning how to understand myself.

After a profound personal experience

I stopped trying to “fix” myself and started learning how to understand myself.

That shift changed everything.
Along the way, I sought guidance from people who had genuinely walked this path – not just studied it. Interestingly, much of what I discovered through lived experience later aligned with yogic teachings I went on to study more deeply.

That showed me something important.

Real understanding

It doesn't just come from information – it comes from experience, integration and committed practice. Today, I combine that lived experience with practical tools and personalised support to help you do the same.

What others have experienced

“As a late-diagnosed ADHD, menopausal woman who wanted more help with life in general, I found Jay to be an awesome mix of holistic, therapeutic, spiritual, laughter, wisdom, guidance, support, common sense and encouragement in one human being.

I have learnt so much about myself and my ways of coping. It literally has been life-changing for me.
It sounds odd to say, but I feel like he spoke to my soul. I will be forever grateful for his help in my healing journey.”

If you feel stuck between wanting to do everything and doing nothing… If you know there’s more in you, but can’t quite access it… This is your starting point. You take the first step. Then we walk the rest together.

My Ethos

Growth happens when you’re willing to meet yourself honestly.
Too often, we’re held back from being our authentic selves by the expectations we place on ourselves – and those placed on us by others.
We hesitate to change. We avoid self-advocation.
And over time, we move further away from who we naturally are.

How I approach this work

I don’t approach coaching with expectations of who or how you should be.

There’s only one requirement:
Show up for yourself with a genuine willingness to grow.
No matter where you are or how you feel on the day, every version of you is welcome. Honesty here is key to success!

I won’t set rigid “homework” or hold you to unrealistic standards.
Instead, I’ll guide you through practices and goals that, when applied, will support your growth and accelerate your progress.

This is a simple principle:
When you know what to put in and how, you’ll be amazed with how much you can get out.

What to expect

This work creates change.
And with that, there can sometimes be moments of discomfort. That’s part of the process, and I will be there to support you through it.

Growth often involves stripping back the layers of narrative you’ve built over time, and in some areas, that takes patience.

We don’t avoid discomfort here.
We learn to work with it.

The outcome

Rooting your heart is about returning to what’s already there.

It’s about discovering the purest essence of who you are while learning to exist in a more balanced, harmonious way with life.

If you’re ready to leave old habits and ways of thinking behind and commit to something different, I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
