Young People's Coaching (13-17)

Young people today are often expected to meet targets from a very early age, frequently in environments that don’t suit their natural way of being.
With the focus placed heavily on results, pressure builds, while the quality of their engagement is often overlooked.

When someone feels like they’re constantly falling short, they don’t just question the system; they begin to question themselves.
This can show up as:
  • Anxiety or low mood
  • Withdrawal or shutdown
  • Frustration or behavioural challenges
  • A growing lack of self-worth

Does this feel familiar?

Do you feel like the education system hasn’t supported your child in the way they need?
Does your child find it difficult to interpret non-verbal cues in others or understand how they themselves are coming across?
Do they seem overwhelmed, misunderstood or disconnected?

How I support them

If this resonates, my role is to create a space where they feel understood, not judged.
Through our sessions, I support them to:
  • Explore and understand their feelings
  • Challenge limiting beliefs about themselves
  • Manage pressure and overwhelm more effectively
  • Feel more at ease with who they are
  • Build self-esteem and confidence
  • Remove shame around their needs
  • Communicate through confusion instead of shutting down
This isn’t about changing them; it’s about helping them understand themselves and navigate the world in a way that works for them.

Parental Support

Alongside this, I offer parental support sessions for those wanting to better understand how their young person experiences and processes the world.
These sessions focus on helping you recognise where they may be struggling, how it shows up, and how to support them in a way that feels steady, consistent, and effective.

A different way forward
Arriving at the destination is still the goal -
some of us are just wired to take the scenic route there!
